Commissioned Artwork Terms
The commission process begins with an initial consultation between the client and the artist. The basic composition, size of canvas, pose, tone, lighting, clothing, and background are all considered mutually. The artist will capture reference photographs or analyze provided materials to finalize the concept.
Artist prefers to work from life wherever possible, which can take place either at the artist’s studio or the client’s location. Multiple sittings may be required for a detailed painting.
In the absence of a live subject, custom artwork can be created using high-quality available photographs and reference materials.
